Painting Visions is a very special painting for me as I am a female artist and I think its special for any woman.

The main idea of this painting is the most vulnerable state of a woman, which is her being naked . When I say naked I don’t mean she doesn’t wear cloth I am talking about phycological effects of social nudity. The experience of nakedness under the gaze of others. when someone is naked its the most fragile state they can ever be, and the same is mental nudity The pressure of society, the judgment, the gossips around women, rumors, bulling, high expectations and demands, prohibits, stereotypes and mental abuse make them feel exactly the same. Imagine being naked in a crowd of people, hundreds of eyes are staring at you and people are judging you, they discuss your most intimate secrets and they shame you.

In this painting I tried to convey that specific terrible feeling that women go through The female on the painting is the symbol of all the women that went through mental abuse and bulling, she is hugging herself trying to protect herself from all the evil eyes watching her, yet she is standing strong she is beautiful and she is facing all the demons with a confident upright posture.
